Sometimes breaks are needed, but please come back at some point! Maybe think of combining/deleting some blogs so that you don't have to worry about updating all of them?

So you made a mistake? So what? Your point was still valid! Just explain the mistake and it's all good.

I think I am a curse. It's happened a number of times before. I'd finally manage to catch up on someone's archives... and days later, they go on an extended break. And some of them never came back. Am I a curse? It feels like it...
All that aside, enjoy your break and take as long as you want/need. :) And I second the trip away suggestion. :)
I too hope it's not because of your take on my post.
Unfortunately email and blog posts are both easy to misinterpret. Sometimes it's because of skimming and sometimes it's because we read them with our own internal voice and our internal voices sometimes see things the poster/writer didn't intend.
The beauty of blogging is that everyone's entitled to their opinions. I love the fact that I can blog here in Ottawa, cause someone in New Zealand to think about what I'd written enough to post on their own blog with me following up on theirs.
Blog, write, enjoy. You'll make mistakes as will I - but at least we have fun.
